Jade Coast Construction is a full service general contractor serving the Monterey Peninsula and Big Sur. Founded in 2006 by RC Banjanin, Jade Coast Construction evolved from 25 years of experience in the construction trades. RC began his carpentry apprenticeship at the age of 14 in Maryland and studied architecture at Virginia Tech.  He restored 2 homes in historic Chevy Chase Maryland before installing millwork at Hillwood, the Marjorie Post Museum in Washington D.C. RC began working for Schnabel Foundation Company in 1996 and becoming a foreman in 1998.  He relocated to California in 2000 to supervise work on the Moss Landing Power Plant water discharge tunnel for Fluor/Duke-Daniel Construction. 

Jade Coast Construction has been featured in Old House Journal, Cedar Street Times and the Carmel Pine Cone. RC has received the Bronze Plaque from the City of Pacific Grove for the Best Historic Restoration of 2008. JCC performed a ground up restoration of the Casita de Lemos in Pebble Beach built by artist and architect Pedro de Lemos in 1944 and was recognized by the Del Monte Forest Conservancy and the Palo Alto Center for the Arts.
